together by Nakeyshaey M. Allen - The
Hip-Hop Therapist™, THHT is a team of
helping professionals that use aspects of
Hip-Hop music and culture to engage
other helping professionals (i.e. social
workers, teachers, therapists, child care
workers, gang interventionists, case
managers, youth workers, and volunteers)
in creative intervention strategies to be
used with their youth and young adult
client populations.
THHT facilitates creative seminars,
speaking engagements, and training
sessions at Human Service Agencies,
Community Organizations, Middle/High
Schools, and Universities throughout the
United States and abroad that fosters
creativity, empowerment, and innovation

About The Hip-Hop Therapist™:

While feeling misunderstood and abandoned, in 1992, Nakeyshaey learned that our society
has an overwhelming tendency to blame youth for its social ills and problems.  Determined
to overcome her own trials and tribulations as an emancipated foster youth and adolescent
single parent, she vowed that throughout her life that she would actively advocate for
youth and youth culture.  Today, Nakeyshaey M. Allen, MS, MSW, LCSW is  affectionately
known as the Hip-Hop Therapist ™ - The REALTalk Coach.  She is also a national clinical
social work consultant, social therapist, educator, published author, trainer, life coach, and
the Founder and CEO of the "Hip-Hop Therapy Foundation (HHTF)".  The HHTF supports
non profit organizations that facilitate programs that use Hip-Hop music and culture to

About DJ Dodge:

Since the mid 90's DJ Dodge has been a permanent fixture on the UK music
scene. Now located in the United States - DJ Dodge is a international
phenomenon that has played in over 25 countries.  A standalone music expert,
re-mixer and music producer, DJ Dodge has worked in hundreds of clubs and
with aspiring/established artists from all over the world.  Furthermore, a
community conscious disc jockey, DJ Dodge has shared his voice, heart, and his
tight beats in addressing youth violence that has plagued London's inner city
for years.  Now based in Los Angeles, DJ Dodge has recognized the parallels of
youth violence between the two international cities, and is continuing his
community work by partnering with the Hip-Hop Therapist™.  DJ Dodge has his
