- Hip-Hop Therapy Facilitator Training ®:
Degree and working in a clinical capacity in the fields of social work,
counseling, marriage and family therapy, and/or psychology. Participants learn
how to use the culturally sensitive and innovative approach Hip-Hop
Therapy®. The training consists of the following:
- Hip-Hop Therapy ® Methodology and Implementation
- Training Manual
- 18 Continuing Education Units (CEU)
- Certification as a Hip-Hop Therapy ® Facilitator
- Ongoing Support and Coaching
- Rights to use Hip-Hop Therapy ® term in commerce in agreement with
the Hip-Hop Therapy Project, LLC.
The cost of this training is $1500 per person. A Needs Assessment is needed to assess the
cost for agencies who choose to purchase the right to use the training curriculim for their
staff/employees. Also, agencies must enter into a licensing agreement with the Hip-Hop
Therapy Project, LLC.
- Hip-Hop Mentor Training ®:
young adults in the group homes, schools, and in community settings.
Participants will learn how to use Hip-Hop music and culture to engage thier
client population in the programs and services they provide, as well as how Hip-
Hop to reach out to the youth they mentor. The training consists of
the following:
- Methodolgy and Implementation
- Training Manual
- 15 Continuing Education Units (CEU)
- Certificate of Training
The cost of this training is $300 per person. A Needs Assessment is needed to assess the cost
for agencies who purchase the training for their staff/employees.
- Adolescent Parent Mentor Training ®:
young adults in group homes, schools, and in community settings. Participants
will learn engagement strategies for adolescent parents, as well as nurturing,
parenting, home, and life management skills. This training consists of the
following:
- Methodology and Implementation
- Training Manual
- 15 Continuing Education Units (CEU)
- Certificate of Training
The cost of this training is $150 per person. A Needs Assessment is needed to assess the cost
for agencies who purchase the training for their staff/employees.
All training programs are available to purchase by agencies who service youth and
young adult populations and/or impacted by Hip-Hop music and culture. To purchase a
